Treatment Areas

This page discusses the most popular treatment areas for men and women. As stated in the Electrology Q&A page within my website, almost all areas on the body are treatable except for the scalp, eyelashes, inside of the nose, and inside the ear canal.

Women:
Hair removal can be done on the hairline, eyebrows, ears, top of the nose, cheeks, side burn area, upper and lower lip, chin, throat, neck, shoulders, back, chest, breast, abdomen, arms, legs, bikini line, hands, feet, toes, and fingers. Pregnant women can also be treated, except for their breast and abdominal area.

Men:
Hair removal can be done on the hairline, eyebrows, beard lines, shoulders, back, neck, chest, ears, and nose. Ingrown hairs are also a serious problem for many men and Electrolysis can especially help in this area.

Hello i was wondering have you ever done work on african american and did the progress turned out well

      Dear Ms. Johnson,
Most of my clients are African-American. I am extremely comfortable working on their skin since I was a dermatologic nurse for 12 years and the physician I worked with knew and taught me much about African-American skin and also other skin colours such as Mediterrenean, Spanish and Asian. Your skin needs to be treated with extreme care to not produce a discoloration but once the discoloration is there, there are many methods to bring back your colour once you have completed your treatments or even while you are completing your treatments. I would have to assess your skin and see if we could wait on the condition of it or go ahead and work along with a dermatologist. I have not had any complaints at all and fear not to work on African-American skin in comparision to my collegues.
      Thank you

What is your minimum age limit for upper lip hair removal?

    • monique burghart said,

over the age of 18. Any younger the client would require the presence of her mother or father to sign consent form and other important forms for treatment. If the client has a medical problem a physician note would be required.
